CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY — Two male police trainees in Misamis Oriental were arrested and held in custody on Tuesday after being accused of raping a female batchmate, according to the Police Regional Office-10 (PRO-10).
The Misamis Oriental Police Provincial Office launched the investigation after receiving a report of the alleged violation under the Anti-Rape Law of 1997. The two suspects were placed under police custody as authorities moved forward with their probe.
