Two traffic officers hospitalised after vehicle fire on BKE
Two Traffic Police officers were taken to hospital after suffering smoke inhalation from a vehicle fire on the Bukit Timah Expressway. Firefighters brought the blaze under control using water jets.

Two officers from the Traffic Police were hospitalised on Tuesday after inhaling smoke from a burning vehicle on the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE). The officers were responding to the incident when they were exposed to smoke from the flames. They were subsequently conveyed to hospital for medical evaluation and treatment related to smoke inhalation. The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) attended the scene and brought the fire under control using water jets. The cause of the vehicle fire remains under investigation by authorities.
