U.S. envoy visits Tata-Lockheed Martin facility as India eyes transport aircraft

During the tour, the envoy inspected the production line responsible for manufacturing empennages—the tail section assemblies—for the C-130J Super Hercules transport aircraft.

India is in advanced stages of evaluating a substantial acquisition of approximately 80 C-130J Super Hercules aircraft to modernize its military transport capabilities.
