The UAE's progression came courtesy of a single goal from forward Ousmane Camara, whose strike proved decisive in the match held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Camara's goal was enough to see off Oman's challenge and book the Emirates a spot in the tournament's showpiece final. The victory represents a significant achievement for the UAE side in the prestigious Gulf competition.
With the semi-final hurdle cleared, the Emirates now prepare to face Saudi Arabia, the hosts, in the final. The championship match will determine the winner of this year's Gulf Cup, with both teams seeking to claim the regional title.
The final is expected to draw considerable interest across the Gulf region, with both nations among the strongest football competitors in the area. Saudi Arabia advanced to the final through their own semi-final victory.
