Indonesia has secured a major crude oil supply agreement with the United Arab Emirates, with shipments of 30 million barrels expected to arrive in the coming period, the Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Operations (SKK Migas) announced. The deal represents a significant energy partnership between the two nations as Indonesia works to meet domestic demand and support its refining operations. SKK Migas, which oversees Indonesia's oil and gas sector, confirmed the arrangement as part of broader efforts to diversify the country's crude sources and ensure stable energy supplies. The supply agreement comes as Indonesia continues to balance domestic production with strategic imports to maintain adequate reserves for its growing economy. The timing and phased delivery schedule of the UAE crude shipments are expected to provide important support to Indonesia's downstream petroleum industry and national energy requirements.
