UAE to supply 30 million barrels of crude oil to Indonesia

Indonesia has secured a significant crude oil supply agreement with the United Arab Emirates, marking an important development in the country's efforts to maintain stable energy supplies. The oil regulator SKK Migas confirmed that the UAE will deliver 30 million barrels of crude to Indonesian ports over a designated period.

The shipment represents a substantial portion of Indonesia's crude oil imports and reflects growing energy cooperation between the two nations. As a major global crude producer, the UAE has emerged as a key supplier to support Indonesia's domestic refining capacity and meet the country's oil demand.

Indonesia has faced challenges in recent years maintaining sufficient domestic crude production, making international supply agreements critical to ensuring energy security. The arrangement with the UAE helps diversify Indonesia's crude sourcing while supporting the operational needs of domestic refineries that process crude into fuels and other petroleum products.

The agreement underscores the importance of bilateral energy partnerships in Southeast Asia's broader energy infrastructure. As regional economies continue to grow, securing reliable crude supplies remains central to supporting industrial output and economic development across the region.
