UIAM Lecturer to Challenge Dismissal in Industrial Court

According to her account, the university rejected her appeal within just one day of submission, leaving her with limited recourse within the institution's internal procedures. The rapid dismissal of her appeal has prompted her decision to seek resolution through the country's labour dispute mechanism. An Industrial Court hearing would allow her case to be heard by an independent tribunal specializing in employment matters. The development marks an escalation in the dispute between the lecturer and the Islamic university, which is based in Selangor.
