Ukraine Explores Legal Adult Industry Framework to Fund Defence Needs

Ukrainian politician Yaroslav Zhelezniak has championed a legislative initiative aimed at bringing the country's adult entertainment industry into the formal economy through proper regulation and taxation. According to reports, the measure could unlock approximately $25 million in annual tax revenue for the state coffers.

The proposal represents an unconventional approach to addressing Ukraine's significant funding requirements for defence modernisation. Government officials have outlined ambitious procurement goals, including the acquisition of thousands of unmanned aerial systems to bolster military capabilities in the current geopolitical context.
