Ukraine honours Elon Musk with Order of Freedom for Starlink aid

Elon Musk has been awarded Ukraine's Order of Freedom, the country's most prestigious civilian decoration, in recognition of his exceptional contributions through Starlink satellite internet services. The honour underscores the significant impact of the technology in safeguarding communications and enabling the continuation of essential services during wartime.

Following Russia's invasion in February 2022, Starlink emerged as a critical lifeline for Ukraine, providing reliable internet connectivity when traditional infrastructure was damaged or destroyed.
