Ukraine launches massive drone assault on Moscow during Russian elections

Moscow and its vicinity came under intense drone bombardment on Sunday as Russia concluded its three-day parliamentary election process, according to Russian defence officials. The Russian military claimed to have intercepted more than 1,600 drones throughout the assault, with approximately 450 targets reported heading toward the capital itself.
The strikes inflicted damage on an oil refinery complex in the region, adding to concerns over critical infrastructure vulnerability during the conflict.
