UltraTech Cement's consolidated net profit grew 21 per cent year-on-year in Q2FY27, reaching ₹1,494 crore, the company announced. The growth trajectory was supported by expanded sales and improved operational efficiency across its cement business segments.
Net sales for the quarter rose 18.9 per cent to ₹23,024 crore compared to the corresponding period last year. Domestic grey-cement volumes demonstrated solid expansion, increasing 13.8 per cent on a year-on-year basis, reflecting sustained demand from India's construction and infrastructure sectors.
Operational performance also strengthened during the quarter, with earnings before interest, depreciation, taxes and amortisation climbing 17.3 per cent to ₹3,832 crore year-on-year. The margin expansion indicates improved realisation from higher volumes and stable cost management.
The results underscore continued momentum in India's cement sector, driven by ongoing infrastructure development, real estate activity and government-led construction initiatives. UltraTech's market position and capacity additions have enabled the company to capitalise on rising demand across its key markets.
