UMANG App Issues? Access EPFO Passbook via Official Portal Instead

Workers experiencing problems accessing their PF passbooks through the UMANG application due to technical issues now have an alternative solution. The EPFO's official online portal allows account holders to view their Provident Fund balance, deposit amounts, and accrued interest without relying on the mobile app.

The UMANG application, which was designed to simplify access to government services including EPFO-related transactions, has occasionally encountered technical glitches that prevent users from retrieving critical account information. These disruptions have prompted many employees to seek workarounds to monitor their retirement savings.

Account holders can log into the EPFO's dedicated portal using their credentials to access comprehensive details about their PF accounts, including transaction history and claim status. The web-based platform provides the same functionality as the mobile application while circumventing current technical issues.

The EPFO has not issued an official statement regarding the timeline for resolving the UMANG application glitches. In the interim, workers are advised to use the official EPFO portal as their primary means of accessing PF-related information and managing their accounts online.
