Umno divisions propose BN-PH cooperation, 'Bangsa House' concept
More than 150 Umno branch divisions have submitted proposals for discussion at the party's 2026 general assembly, including recommendations on political cooperation and a new governance framework.

Umno's secretary-general Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki said proposals from 157 party divisions will be tabled at the Umno General Assembly beginning next Wednesday, signalling ongoing internal discussions about the party's strategic direction.
Among the key proposals being considered is the future of Umno's political cooperation with Pakatan Harapan, as well as a concept referred to as 'Rumah Bangsa' or 'Bangsa House', which appears to relate to governance or organisational structures within the party.
