Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan's Mother Passes Away

Kaushalya Bai Chouhan, mother of Union Minister and senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Shivraj Singh Chouhan, passed away at AIIMS Bhopal on Monday. She was admitted to the hospital following health complications.

The last rites of the deceased were conducted at Jait, the family's ancestral village in Madhya Pradesh, according to Hindu funeral traditions. The cremation was attended by close family members and supporters.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav paid tributes to the departed. Several other political leaders and colleagues of Shivraj Singh Chouhan expressed condolences to the family during this period of grief.

Shivraj Singh Chouhan has held various positions including Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh on multiple occasions before being appointed as Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare in the current National Democratic Alliance government.
