UPSC declares Civil Services Mains examination results for 2026

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the results of the Civil Services Examination (CSE) Mains 2026, marking a crucial milestone in India's premier civil service recruitment process. Aspiring candidates who appeared for the examination can check their performance on the UPSC's official website.

The Civil Services Examination is India's most competitive recruitment examination, conducted annually in three distinct phases. The preliminary examination serves as the initial screening stage, followed by the comprehensive Main examination that tests candidates' in-depth knowledge across multiple subjects. Successful candidates from the Mains phase subsequently face a personality assessment interview before final selection.

Those who clear the Mains examination will progress to the interview stage of the selection process. The examination is designed to recruit qualified candidates for several prestigious central government services, including the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), and Indian Police Service (IPS), among others.

Candidates are advised to visit the official UPSC website and navigate to the results section using their login credentials to access detailed information about their performance. The commission typically provides guidance regarding next steps for qualified candidates in subsequent announcements.
