US approves $2.8bn arms sale of bunker-busting bombs to Israel

The United States State Department has approved a $2.8 billion arms package for Israel that includes 2,000-pound bunker-busting bombs, according to officials. The sale comes amid renewed scrutiny of civilian harm in military operations across the Middle East and Palestine.
