US Coast Guard rescues teenage boy from overturned Alaska fishing vessel
A 15-year-old boy was rescued after clinging to an overturned fishing boat in the Bering Sea near Alaska's St. Lawrence Island. Two other crew members were found dead in the water during the search operation.

The teenager was discovered clinging to the hull of an 18-foot fishing vessel approximately four miles east of St. Lawrence Island in Alaska's waters. The US Coast Guard had launched a search after the boat failed to return as expected, prompting fears for the safety of those aboard.
The rescue operation resulted in the recovery of all three individuals reported missing. Two of the boaters were found deceased in the water, while the 15-year-old survivor was pulled from the overturned vessel. The bodies of the two deceased were subsequently transported to Nome, Alaska.
