USS Abraham Lincoln heads home after extended Middle East deployment

The USS Abraham Lincoln, one of the U.S. Navy's most significant maritime assets, passed through the Singapore Strait as part of its homeward journey after an extended deployment supporting regional operations in the Middle East. The carrier has spent more than 250 days away from its home port, conducting sustained naval operations across one of the world's most strategically important maritime regions.

While the deployment has been completed as scheduled, reports have emerged of challenges faced by the vessel's crew during the extended mission.
