Uttar Pradesh CM inaugurates welfare hall in Gorakhpur

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate a newly constructed welfare hall (Kalyan Mandap) in Gorakhpur, constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 3.09 crore.

The facility represents the state government's continued focus on developing community infrastructure across the district. The welfare hall is designed to serve as a venue for local social, cultural and administrative functions, providing residents with modern civic amenities.

This inauguration follows the opening of similar welfare halls in multiple localities across Gorakhpur. Previously commissioned facilities include those in Khorabar, Surajkund, Manbela, Tola Piru Shaheed in Rapti Nagar extension, Bichia Jungle Tulsiram, Jungle Beni Madhav and Basaratpur.

The expansion of welfare facilities forms part of the state government's broader initiative to enhance public infrastructure and community gathering spaces across Uttar Pradesh's districts. Such facilities typically serve as multi-purpose venues for administrative work, social programs and local events, catering to the needs of residents in their respective areas.
