Uttar Pradesh Home Guard Physical Test Postponed Amid Adverse Weather

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has postponed the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) scheduled for Home Guard aspirants in 2026, citing inclement weather and waterlogging conditions at multiple examination venues across the state.

The decision was taken to ensure fair testing conditions and the safety of candidates participating in the physical assessment round. Heavy rainfall has rendered several examination centers inaccessible or unsuitable for conducting the demanding physical tests, which typically include running, jumping, and other endurance-based evaluations.

The recruitment board issued an official notice directing all candidates to refrain from reporting to examination centers until a fresh date is announced. The UPPRPB has urged candidates to monitor its official website and notification channels for updates regarding the rescheduled examination date.

This marks another delay in the Home Guard recruitment process, which has faced multiple postponements over recent months.
