The Uttar Pradesh Police has finalized new dates for the physical efficiency tests of its constable recruitment drive after heavy rainfall forced the cancellation of examinations scheduled for September 24 and 29.
According to the revised schedule, physical tests will now proceed on staggered dates across different examination centers. While some centers will continue with their originally planned test dates, others will see their October 1 examinations postponed to October 8, officials said.
The recruitment board has also made changes to the location of certain examination centers to manage the logistical challenges created by the weather disruptions. Candidates are advised to check the official recruitment portal for their specific center assignments and revised test schedules.
The physical fitness component is a crucial stage in the constable selection process, assessing candidates' physical capabilities against stipulated standards. Authorities have urged candidates to remain alert for further updates and to keep their registration details current with the recruitment board.
