Uttar Pradesh to develop robotics park and AI hub in Greater Noida

The Uttar Pradesh government has given its approval for the establishment of a dedicated robotics park and artificial intelligence hub in Greater Noida, marking a significant step toward diversifying the state's industrial base beyond traditional sectors.

The project represents an ambitious effort to attract technology companies, startups, and research institutions to the region. By creating a specialized ecosystem for robotics and AI development, the initiative aims to position Uttar Pradesh as a competitive destination for innovation-driven enterprises in South Asia.

According to government estimates, the facility is projected to generate employment for more than one lakh workers across various skill levels, from manufacturing and engineering roles to research and development positions. The venture is anticipated to contribute approximately ₹2,000 crore annually to the state's gross domestic product once fully operational.

Greater Noida's selection as the location reflects its existing industrial infrastructure and proximity to Delhi, which is expected to facilitate talent acquisition and business operations. The robotics park and AI hub are intended to complement the broader economic development strategy for the National Capital Region and support India's broader objectives in emerging technology sectors.
