Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will launch two significant welfare schemes in Lucknow, marking a policy push to support both the transportation and agricultural sectors in the state.
The Bharat Taxi scheme is designed to enhance mobility services by establishing structured provisions for taxi drivers and passengers. The initiative seeks to standardize operations and improve user experience across the taxi industry while providing support mechanisms for operators.
The Chief Minister Farmer Prosperity scheme will provide agricultural credit support to farmers at concessional rates. Under the scheme, eligible cultivators can access loans of up to ₹6 lakh at a 6 percent interest rate, aimed at facilitating agricultural investments and improving farmer incomes.
Both schemes reflect the state government's focus on creating employment opportunities and strengthening support systems for key economic sectors. The launch is scheduled to take place in the state capital on Wednesday.
