Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced on Tuesday that the state government would provide employment to one lakh youth through various recruitment initiatives. The comprehensive hiring programme reflects the government's commitment to addressing joblessness in the state.
According to officials, approximately 25,000 to 30,000 positions will be filled through results declared by the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC). An additional 20,000 to 25,000 vacancies will be filled by the Uttar Pradesh Education Selection Commission, taking the total recruitment close to the one lakh figure.
The recruitment drive is expected to benefit a substantial section of the state's youth population seeking stable government employment. Officials said the positions would span multiple departments and services across the state administration.
The announcement comes as the state government continues to prioritize employment generation as part of its broader economic agenda. The timing of these recruitments will be coordinated with the respective commissions to ensure a steady flow of new government employees into the system.
