Uttarakhand BJP core panel deliberates candidate slate for Rajya Sabha

The BJP's core committee in Uttarakhand met to evaluate and discuss names of prospective candidates for the forthcoming Rajya Sabha elections, signaling the party's preparations for the parliamentary contest.

During the closed-door meeting at the party's state headquarters, committee members focused on identifying suitable candidates while emphasizing the need for broader engagement with the electorate. Senior party functionary Deepti Rawat underscored that core committee members had called upon party workers to intensify their efforts in disseminating information about the government's development programmes and policy framework to the public.
