Varmora Granito shares surge on listing debut across Indian bourses

Varmora Granito's initial public offering shares commenced trading on the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange, with the stock performing well above its issue price on both platforms.

On the BSE, shares opened at ₹152 apiece, representing a gain of ₹4 or 2.7 per cent over the IPO price of ₹148. The NSE saw more robust performance, with the stock debuting at ₹155—a jump of ₹7 or 4.73 per cent from the issue price.

The differential in listing prices across the two exchanges reflected varying demand dynamics. While the BSE premium indicated measured investor interest, the NSE's stronger performance suggested healthy appetite among retail participants on the larger exchange.

The listing gains exceeded initial market expectations for the granite and ceramics manufacturer, signalling positive sentiment ahead of the company's trading debut. Analysts will be watching the stock's performance in subsequent sessions to gauge sustained investor interest in the sector.
