Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon lend voices to animated film Obsession

Bollywood actors Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon are reuniting for a voice acting project on an animated film called Obsession, building on the success of their previous horror-comedy collaboration Bhediya. The actors will lend their voices to the animated feature, which will premiere on the JioHotstar streaming platform on October 30.

The project marks another creative partnership between Dhawan and Sanon, whose on-screen chemistry in Bhediya earned appreciation from audiences and critics. By transitioning to voice acting, both actors are joining a growing number of established Bollywood performers exploring opportunities in animated content.

Obsession will be released directly on JioHotstar, reflecting the increasing preference among production houses to launch entertainment projects on digital platforms. The October 30 release date positions the animated film for consumption during a period of heightened streaming viewership in India.
