VCK pledges support for Tamil Nadu CM's full term

The Viduthalai Chiruthalai Katchi (VCK) on Monday affirmed its backing for the Tamil Nadu government led by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, pledging support for the completion of the administration's full term.

VCK president Thol. Thirumavalavan made the commitment during a press conference, where he commended Stalin's recent policy initiatives. Thirumavalavan specifically highlighted the government's passage of resolutions reaffirming the primacy of the Tamil Thaai Vazhthu, the state song, and its stance against the delimitation exercise proposed by the Union government.

The resolutions represent the DMK-led government's stance on protecting Tamil Nadu's constitutional interests and cultural symbolism. The Chief Minister's actions have reinforced the state administration's position on federalism and linguistic preservation, matters that align with the VCK's political agenda.

Thirumavalavan's public endorsement underscores the coalition dynamics within Tamil Nadu's ruling alliance and signals the VCK's continued commitment to supporting the incumbent government. The support assumes significance as the state government navigates both policy implementation and inter-coalition coordination ahead of future electoral cycles.
