Venezia have parted ways with Giovanni Stroppa following the team's alarming start to the Serie A campaign. The Italian club announced the managerial change on Tuesday as they seek to reverse their fortunes after accumulating no points from their first six league fixtures.
The Venetian outfit's winless streak has left them isolated at the foot of the table, prompting club officials to make a change in the dugout. Stroppa's departure marks a significant shift in strategy as the club attempts to salvage what has been a catastrophic opening to their Serie A season.
The decision underscores the mounting pressure facing the club as they battle to avoid relegation. With the season still in its infancy, Venezia will hope that new leadership can arrest the slide and build momentum in the coming weeks. The club has not announced a replacement for Stroppa at this stage.
