Fr. Vicente Castro, SVD, a venerable Divine Word missionary who spent much of his religious life serving Mindoro and its communities, died Friday morning at Villa Cristo Rey, Christ the King Mission Seminary in Quezon City. He was 85 years old.
The Society of the Divine Word (SVD) Philippine Southern Province confirmed Castro's death occurred at approximately 2:10 a.m. on Friday.
