CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY — Brigadier General Aaron Mandia has assumed command of the Police Regional Office in Northern Mindanao (PRO-10), marking a significant leadership change within the Philippine National Police's regional structure.

Mandia, recognized for his extensive field command experience, steps into the role vacated by Brigadier General Christopher Abrahano, who has been designated as officer in charge of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO).

The appointment reflects ongoing organizational adjustments within the PNP as senior officers are reassigned to different regional commands. Mandia previously served as deputy regional director of PRO-10, positioning him with institutional knowledge of the region's law enforcement priorities and challenges.

The Northern Mindanao police region covers several provinces in Mindanao and plays a key role in the broader security operations across the island. Mandia's transition to the directorship underscores the PNP's practice of promoting experienced commanders to higher leadership positions based on their operational track records.
