Vice-President to grace NTRUHS's 40th-year milestone celebration

Vice-President C.P. Radhakrishnan is scheduled to participate in the ruby jubilee celebrations of Dr. N.T. Rama Rao University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) on October 26, marking four decades of the institution's operations.

The university was established in 1986 following an initiative by former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N.T. Rama Rao. Since its inception, NTRUHS has developed into a significant educational hub for health sciences in South India, offering diverse programmes across medicine, nursing, pharmacy, and allied health disciplines.

According to Vice-Chancellor Chandrasekhar, the institution has substantially expanded its infrastructure and academic offerings over the past four decades, strengthening its position as a major centre for health sciences education. The university continues to produce healthcare professionals and conduct research that contributes to the region's medical landscape.

The ruby jubilee celebration will serve as an occasion to reflect on the university's journey and its contributions to higher medical education in India.
