Vietnam and the Czech Republic are moving to strengthen bilateral cooperation in multiple sectors, with particular emphasis on law enforcement coordination. Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung has proposed establishing regular exchanges of delegations and expertise between the two countries' security agencies.
The initiative focuses on joint efforts to combat organised crime, transnational criminal networks, drug trafficking, money laundering, high-tech offences, and environmental crimes. Such cooperation reflects growing regional security concerns and the shared commitment of both nations to address emerging threats that transcend borders.
Beyond law enforcement, Vietnam and the Czech Republic are expanding their partnership in education, science, and technology sectors. The two countries have also identified urban planning and investment as key areas for enhanced collaboration, signalling a comprehensive approach to bilateral relations.
Additionally, cooperation in public auditing has been strengthened, indicating a broadening of institutional ties across government agencies. These multifaceted initiatives underscore the deepening relationship between Hanoi and Prague across economic, security, and developmental dimensions.
