Vietnam and Panama pledge to expand economic and trade cooperation

Officials from both nations outlined an ambitious agenda for expanded cooperation following high-level talks, committing to accelerate joint initiatives in economics, trade and investment alongside agriculture, port logistics, finance and banking.

The two countries also pledged to strengthen ties in tourism and transport sectors, while identifying additional areas where mutual strengths could be leveraged for reciprocal benefit. Both delegations expressed confidence in the potential for enhanced people-to-people exchanges to underpin deeper bilateral relationships.

Leaders witnessed the exchange of cooperation documents aimed at establishing a more favorable framework for business and investment activities.
