Vietnam-Cambodia trade expo to showcase 160+ businesses in October

The Vietnam-Cambodia Business Networking and Product Promotion Exposition (VIDEX CAMBODIA 2026) will take place October 14-17 in Phnom Penh, providing a platform for enterprises from both nations to explore partnership opportunities and expand market access. Nine Vietnamese businesses and units will represent the country at the event, joining Cambodian counterparts and regional traders.

The expo comes as Vietnam and Cambodia intensify efforts to strengthen economic connectivity and unlock new growth drivers. Officials have identified three priority areas for achieving the $20 billion bilateral trade target, reflecting the strategic importance both governments place on commercial expansion in the relationship.

Recent high-level visits have reinforced momentum in Vietnam-Cambodia ties, with diplomatic observers noting that such engagement is expected to translate into more substantive and effective cooperation across multiple sectors. Trade expos and business forums have become key mechanisms for realizing these commitments, enabling direct connections between companies and fostering investment dialogue.

The October gathering represents part of a broader push to capitalize on geographical proximity and complementary economic strengths. By facilitating business-to-business interactions, both nations aim to diversify trade portfolios and create sustainable commercial partnerships that benefit producers and consumers across the region.
