Vietnam has successfully concluded peacekeeping operations by its Engineering Unit Rotation 4 and Level-2 Field Hospital Rotation 7, according to remarks at a hybrid conference hosted by the Ministry of National Defence on Wednesday.

The completion of these missions marks another chapter in Vietnam's ongoing participation in United Nations peacekeeping operations. The country has maintained a consistent presence in UN-mandated missions across multiple regions, contributing military personnel and medical capabilities to international stabilization efforts.

As outgoing units wrap up their deployments, Vietnam is advancing the next phase of its peacekeeping engagement. Engineering Unit Rotation 5 is preparing to depart for the African Union-United Nations Hybrid Operation in Darfur (UNISFA), while four additional military officers have been selected for UN peacekeeping assignments.

The transitions underscore Vietnam's commitment to multilateral peacekeeping operations and its role in supporting international security objectives. The country's rotating deployment model ensures continuity in its contributions to UN missions while providing professional development opportunities for its armed forces personnel.
