Vietnam's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Gen. Phan Van Giang has expressed confidence that defence ties between Vietnam and Laos will continue expanding with enhanced "strategic cohesion," underscoring the two countries' commitment to strengthening their partnership.
The remarks came as Vietnamese Prime Minister Le Minh Hung held formal discussions with his Lao counterpart Saleumxay Kommasith in the Lao capital.
