Vietnam, Mexico collaborate on book showcasing nation's development vision

Vietnam News Agency and Mexico's Labour Party have jointly published 'The Aspiration for a Strong and Prosperous Vietnam in the New Era,' a collection of articles and addresses reflecting the nation's development trajectory and future direction. The collaboration represents deepening ideological and institutional ties between the two nations' political establishments.

The book's debut follows a working visit to Mexico by a Communist Party of Vietnam delegation led by Associate Professor Hoang Phuc Lam, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics. The delegation traveled to Mexico City from October 6–8, 2026, at the invitation of the Mexican Labour Party.

During their visit, Vietnamese party officials participated in the 30th International Seminar on Theoretical Exchanges on the Role of Political Parties and a New Society, a forum that brought together communist and socialist parties to discuss contemporary governance challenges and ideological developments.

The publication project underscores Vietnam's strategy of engaging international partners to disseminate perspectives on the country's socio-economic development model and political philosophy. Such collaborations strengthen bilateral relationships while contributing to theoretical discourse among progressive political movements across the Global South.
