The National Assembly has expanded its agenda for the second session with the addition of several key policy initiatives. Among the newly approved items is the consideration and approval of a resolution on special mechanisms and policies for tourism development, to be handled under simplified procedures to expedite implementation.

Infrastructure development forms another priority, with lawmakers set to review investment policy decisions for three expressway projects. These projects are expected to enhance regional connectivity and support economic growth across the country.

Beyond infrastructure, the expanded agenda reflects broader concerns among lawmakers about resource management and regulatory oversight. The National Assembly will scrutinize a comprehensive data security bill, addressing growing concerns about digital protection and information safeguards in an increasingly connected economy.

Energy sector reforms also feature prominently, with planned amendments to the Electricity Law aimed at ensuring power prices remain reasonable and transparent. The measures reflect efforts to balance affordable energy access with fair pricing mechanisms for producers and consumers alike.

The additions underscore the National Assembly's focus on balancing economic development with efficient resource allocation and robust regulatory frameworks. Officials have indicated that improved efficiency in public resource management will remain central to legislative deliberations throughout the session.
