Prime Minister Le Minh Hung held talks with Lao National Assembly President in the capital, emphasizing Vietnam's unwavering support for Laos's modernization efforts and role in the international community.
During the meeting, Le Minh Hung stated that Vietnam's Party, State and people remain steadfast allies in Laos's pursuit of national development and broader international integration. He highlighted the importance of seizing emerging opportunities to achieve rapid and sustainable growth across the region.
The Vietnamese delegation participated in a traditional Lao wrist-tying ceremony, a cultural ritual reflecting the bonds between the two nations. The encounter also focused on strengthening defence and security cooperation, with both sides recognizing the need to deepen strategic coordination in these critical areas.
The visit underscores the depth of bilateral relations between Hanoi and Vientiane, rooted in shared revolutionary history and geographic proximity.
