Prime Minister Le Minh Hung acknowledged the difficulties confronting Vietnamese-origin communities in Cambodia, underscoring Vietnam's determination to press Cambodia for measures that would facilitate better living standards and economic opportunities for the population.

The PM emphasized that sustained government engagement with Cambodian authorities remains essential to securing favorable conditions for Vietnamese citizens in the neighboring nation. Such efforts are aimed at enabling the community to achieve greater economic stability and long-term prosperity.

During the diplomatic visit, Le Minh Hung highlighted the potential of young people in strengthening bilateral relations between Vietnam and Cambodia, signaling that youth engagement would be a key focus area for advancing the two nations' partnership.

The government also pointed to successful Vietnamese business ventures in Cambodia as evidence of expanding economic cooperation. The Angkormilk project was cited as a notable example of Vietnamese enterprises establishing profitable operations in the kingdom, demonstrating the feasibility of sustained commercial presence.

The commitments were made during courtesy visits the Vietnamese PM paid to Cambodia's King and Queen Mother, reinforcing the high-level nature of the diplomatic engagement and Vietnam's priority on relations with its western neighbor.
