The national brand recognition programme underscores Vietnam's commitment to elevating homegrown enterprises and their products in international markets. The 2026 cohort spans diverse industries, reflecting broad-based economic strength across manufacturing, services, and technology sectors.

The initiative comes as Vietnam's overall national brand value has surged significantly, climbing 45 percent to exceed $462 billion USD. This growth trajectory demonstrates increasing investor confidence in Vietnamese companies and their ability to compete globally.

The timing of the national brand recognition programme coincides with Vietnam's hosting of the World Economic Forum's Autumn Economic Forum 2026 in Ho Chi Minh City, positioning the country to showcase its leading enterprises and innovation capacity to an international business audience.

Official designation as a Vietnam National Brand provides enterprises with enhanced credibility and market access, supporting their expansion strategies both regionally and internationally. The programme reflects state efforts to transition the economy toward higher-value manufacturing and services.
