Vietnam's National Assembly Standing Committee wraps six-day session

The National Assembly Standing Committee brought its sixth session to a close on the morning of September 30, concluding a full week of legislative work. During the session, the committee examined key policy documents and discussed legislative priorities for the coming year.

Among the substantive matters reviewed during the session was a draft data security law, reflecting growing policy attention toward digital governance and information protection in Vietnam. The review process examined the proposed legislation's alignment with national development priorities and international standards.

The committee also used the session to consider and finalize the 2027 legislative programme, mapping out the National Assembly's intended focus areas and legislative priorities for the upcoming year.
