Vietnam's patriotic youth campaign reaches 7.9 million participants

Vietnam's youth-led patriotic campaign has engaged 7.9 million participants since its May launch, according to reports from the country's youth leadership bodies. The 'I Love My Fatherland' initiative represents a coordinated effort to channel youthful energy into national pride and community service activities.

The campaign has organized 3,100 flag-raising ceremonies at symbolic locations including national landmarks, historical sites and revolutionary heritage addresses known as 'red addresses' across Vietnam. Organizers have simultaneously initiated 1,050 youth-focused development projects targeting community improvement and social engagement.

Digital outreach has amplified the campaign's reach significantly, with nearly 1.3 billion impressions generated across social media platforms. The substantial online engagement reflects growing participation among Vietnam's digitally connected youth population.

The initiative coincides with major congresses of Vietnam's principal youth organizations, including the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Youth Federation and the 13th National Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. These gatherings underscore the Communist Party's emphasis on mobilizing younger generations around nationalist themes and community development objectives.
