Vietnam's top leader urges accelerated security policy implementation

Vietnam's top leader has emphasized the need for a more proactive approach to national security, urging faster implementation of previously adopted resolutions, conclusions and strategic plans. The Central Public Security Party Committee was instructed to strengthen its core advisory functions while prioritizing the acceleration of existing security frameworks.

According to the leadership directive, implementation speed and measurable outcomes are now the primary focus for security authorities. Rather than introducing new policies, officials have been tasked with ensuring that current security measures are executed effectively across all levels.

The call comes as Vietnam prepares enhanced security and public order measures for the upcoming National Day holiday period. Public security officials have also highlighted the importance of cybersecurity compliance in strengthening the nation's overall security posture.

Vietnamese diplomatic and public security missions have marked the 81st anniversary of the August Revolution, underscoring the security establishment's commitment to protecting national interests both domestically and internationally.
