Vietnam shares party inspection practices with FRELIMO delegation

Tran Sy Thanh, a Politburo member and head of the Communist Party of Vietnam's Central Committee Inspection Commission, held talks with the FRELIMO delegation on September 29. The discussions centered on Vietnam's experience in party inspection and oversight mechanisms, reflecting the two parties' commitment to sharing administrative and governance practices.

The meeting between Vietnamese and Mozambican party officials forms part of broader bilateral engagement aimed at strengthening institutional cooperation. Vietnam and Mozambique have been expanding their partnership across multiple sectors in recent years, with party-to-party exchanges serving as a cornerstone of diplomatic relations.

In parallel developments, senior Vietnamese leaders have received FRELIMO's Secretary General, demonstrating high-level political engagement between Hanoi and Maputo. Additionally, a thematic research programme for managers from both the FRELIMO party and Angola's MPLA has been established, facilitating knowledge transfer and institutional learning.

Separately, Vietnam and Mozambique have concluded a new cooperation agreement in higher education, expanding academic exchange programs and institutional partnerships between universities in both countries. These initiatives underscore the two nations' focus on comprehensive collaboration spanning political, educational, and administrative domains.
