Vietnam Digital Week will take place October 28-30 in Quang Ninh city, bringing together policymakers, researchers and industry leaders to discuss "Intelligent Connectivity: AI Governance, Shaping AI Transformation." The conference represents a significant platform for advancing regional cooperation on critical technology domains amid rapid digital evolution across Southeast Asia.

Organizers have structured the gathering to facilitate policy dialogue among participating nations while creating pathways for international partnerships. A key focus will centre on accelerating research, development, technology transfer and commercialisation efforts in artificial intelligence and other strategic technologies deemed essential for regional competitiveness.

The event underscores Vietnam's commitment to positioning itself as a technology hub in Southeast Asia. Recent bilateral agreements with countries including Australia and Singapore have emphasised cooperation in AI development, semiconductor manufacturing and high-tech innovation, signalling broader regional momentum toward collaborative approaches to emerging technologies.

International participation and structured networking opportunities during the week are expected to strengthen ties among regional technology ecosystems while identifying priority areas for joint investment and research initiatives.
