Vietnam to integrate digital ID system with Singapore, Laos

Vietnam's government is advancing plans to link its VNeID digital identification application with the e-ID systems of Singapore and Laos, officials confirmed. The integration represents an effort to streamline cross-border digital services and enhance interoperability among neighboring nations.

The VNeID platform, which serves as Vietnam's centralized digital identification system, would enable citizens to use their credentials across multiple countries in the region.
