Vijay slams DMK over alleged POCSO case cover-up involving Veeramani

Tamil Nadu's political landscape witnessed fresh controversy on Thursday as Vijay levelled serious charges against the ruling DMK, claiming the party was orchestrating a cover-up of criminal proceedings against one of its senior functionaries. The Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam chief alleged that a case registered under the POCSO Act involving Veeramani was being deliberately suppressed through official mechanisms, raising questions about the government's commitment to child protection laws.

Vijay's accusation represents an escalation in his public criticism of the DMK administration, which he has frequently targeted during campaign rallies and public addresses.
