Village residents chase away activists inspecting school conditions in Jaipur

Residents of Rampura-Kanwarpura village in Bagru, Jaipur, confronted and expelled activists from the Cockroach Party (CJP) who had arrived at a government primary school on Wednesday. According to reports, the encounter involved physical altercations before the activists were forced to leave the premises.
The CJP workers had visited the school to inspect its infrastructure and operational standards. Following their expulsion, the activists staged a protest demonstration outside the facility to draw attention to their concerns.
According to Ashutosh Ranka, a CJP representative, the government school has functioned under severely compromised conditions for several years. "The facility has been operating inside a buffalo shed, lacking basic amenities and proper infrastructure," Ranka alleged, explaining the rationale behind their visit.
The incident highlights ongoing tensions between civic activists and residents over school conditions in rural Jaipur. While the exact cause of the confrontation remains unclear, it underscores the broader challenges facing government educational institutions in the region, particularly those serving remote villages.
